Chartered in 1934, the CRA is the state’s oldest and largest Republican volunteer organization. The Placer County Republican Assembly (PCRA) is the local branch of the CRA dedicated to electing local, statewide and national candidates who support Republican principles. We also work to influence local and state politics in support of those principles.

Colfax Elem. School District Sues Placer CRA for Opposing Tax Increases

The Colfax Elementary School District filed suit against the Placer CRA and others in Aug only to then withdraw that suit. The school district’s filing was in an attempt to quash the PCRA’s opposition statement filed with the state to an upcoming bond measure on the Nov. 4th ballot. See an article in the ‘Colfax Record’ about their efforts as of Aug. 28. Frankly, it is worrisome (putting it mildly) when government even at the smallest levels attempts to engage in suppression of citizen’s free speech rights.

PCRA Q3 Meeting w/ Salute to John Doolittle

Our 3rd quarter meeting will feature a salute to Congressman Doolittle. We will be thanking him for his many years of service. You may not know that John and Julie Doolittle are members of the PCRA. Some of our local elected friends will join us in our salute.

Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
